Hello All,

Originally we were planning to have an AGM on Saturday June 25th and Sunday June 26th to elect members of the executive and have some policy discussions. That did not work out too well. I do believe that being so close to a Federal election had something to do with that.
But we are forging ahead with the plan to have a meeting on Saturday June 25th at the same location, the Super 8 in Windsor, NS...but this will be an executive meeting. It will actually be an open meeting to the entire membership with the goal of accomplishing the following:
1) Filling any vacancies that exist in the Deputy Leadership role and some executive positions
2) Putting together an election readiness committee. There is a Provincial election coming in less than 2 years....we need to start brainstorming now
3) We also need to put together a real positive and productive AGM in the Fall so a committee will be formed to see that it happens
4) Talk about membership drives and fundraising so that our party is in a very strong position for 2012/2013

So please take the time to either come to Windsor to participate on that Saturday...we start at 10:00 am. Or if you want to be a part of a committee but cant make it too the meeting, just send us an email and we will make sure that you get put in touch with the right people.

Remember to renew your membership so you are current.
