Green Party Holds Steady

On June 9, in the 38th Provincial General Election the Green Party of Nova Scotia received 2.33% of the popular vote, holding steady at the same result acheived in 2006.

Green Leader Ryan Watson views the campaign as a success. "We brought our vision to Nova Scotians, kept our messages and our attitude positive, and we have demonstrated the the Green Party is here to stay in Nova Scotia," says Watson. "We've also built our team, and we're ready to take the next steps towards electoral victory."

The Green Party thanks all candidates, volunteers, and supporters for their tremendous efforts to build a Greener Nova Scotia.
