Riding: Halifax Needham
Candidate Name: Kris MacLellan
Kris MacLellan will be representing the Green Party in the riding of Halifax Needham.
The son of two Cape Bretoners, Kris has lived in Nova Scotia since childhood, and ran as the Green Party candidate in Halifax Fairview in 2006. After studying International Development and graduating from Saint Mary’s University in Halifax, Kris travelled abroad, teaching English and experiencing the wonders of Asia.
Today Kris lives in North End Halifax and works for one of Canada’s greenest businesses, Mountain Equipment Co-Op. Here, he encourages Haligonians to enjoy the great Canadian wilderness, and to do so in a ecologically sustainable manner.
