Born and raised in Lancaster Ontario I am the youngest of 8 children born to Oscar & Marcelle Menard. After graduating Char-Lan High School in 1974 I tried my hand at numerous jobs until I joined the Canadian Armed Forces as a Supply Technician where I met my husband Gaetan Lachance-Lamarche. I am the mother of a 30 year old son, Esdras and a 4 year old grand-daughter, Alykie.
After 4 years in the Forces I went to work for IMP Aerospace at the Halifax International Airport. I stayed with IMP for 10 years until I decided to try my hand at my own business. In 1995 Blossoms Flower Boutique in Elmsdale became a reality and I built up the business, 4 years later I received an offer of purchase. That is when we sold our home and the business and moved into town. I now work at Armour Transportation and I have just received my licenses to work with Primerica Financial Services where I am beginning to build up another business in the financial sector.
