Anthony was raised by his single mother along the North-West Arm. Supported by the close proximity to his extended family in tandem with the idyllic natural landscape as his surroundings, Anthony's childhood was one of exploration. His mother, both a filmmaker and musician encouraged involvement in the arts, while Anthony's own sense of enterprise helped drive his determination for more realistic and pragmatic approach to public policy in community.
During his High School years at J.L. Ilsley, Anthony's compassion for politics and community involvement materialized to his candidacy and selection as one of four Canadian youth to attend an International Model United Nations convention in Den Haag, The Netherlands. This experience led to Anthony's continued involvement with The United Nations Association of Canada and frequent travel between Halifax and Ottawa -- encouraging a more active Canadian youth in politics.
Working toward his degree in Contemporary Studies and Philosophy, Anthony has been a student at the University of King's College for the last three consecutive academic years. Retaining the involvement in the arts that was encouraged by his mother, Anthony remains involved in music as part of his rock group "Middle Clouds".
As both a compassionate member of the community and a compassionate member of The Green Party of Nova Scotia, Anthony seeks to campaign on the need for greater connectivity between our rural and urban areas, both in our varying environmental needs and ideologies and the method in which we conduct public and private transit.
Help the rejuvenation of provincial politics in Nova Scotia and Halifax Atlantic to a sense of representation, inspiration and long overdue political mediation in providing greater connectivity for all of us.
